The stain creeping up a block wall on a canal lot, the ceiling under the air handler, the garage wall after the water heater, knob holes and nail pops, patched, textured and primed. Priced on the call.

Kaminskiy Care and Repair repairs drywall in Royal Palm Beach homes from the canal streets of the original village to the gated communities out past Crestwood Boulevard: the tide-marked stain creeping up an exterior block wall on a La Mancha canal lot where the water table sits a foot under the lawn, the ceiling ring under an air handler whose drain line clogged in August, the garage wall soaked when the water heater let go, the nail pops marching down a 1980s hallway in Crestwood, the knob hole in a Madison Green two-story, the anchor holes after a tenant. Soft board comes out, new board goes in on checked furring, every seam is taped, three coats are sanded flat, the orange peel or knockdown is matched and the repair is primed. Water waits for the source to be fixed and the wall to meter dry. The price is in writing on the call, and the crew drives out from West Palm Beach.
Eight repairs, one crew, priced in writing before we start.
Royal Palm Beach is low, flat and laced with canals, and its block houses feel it from the ground up: the water table keeps the slab and the bottom course of block damp through the wet season, the humidity pushes inward, and the drywall on the furring strips stains first at the baseboard. Above, the air handler drips and the 1970s roof flashings leak. We dry it, patch it, match the texture of its decade and tell you where the water came from.

Primed & Ready for PaintThe village notices a peeling wall from the street, and a soft one inside is the same story. Most of these are priced on the call from our West Palm Beach office, in writing; a garage wall or a long run of stained board gets a look and a written scope first.

Kaminskiy-certified pros finish the job with a workmanship warranty.
Every drywall repair carries our one-year workmanship warranty, in writing, and is done by a Kaminskiy-certified, background checked technician.
The water table. The original village was built on canal lots where the ground stays wet for five months a year, and a block wall standing in damp ground wicks moisture up through the block and pushes it inward as vapor, so the drywall furred off the block stains and softens at the baseboard even with nothing leaking. A sprinkler head that hits the stucco every other morning does the same thing faster. The outside is dried up first, the grade and the sprinkler corrected, then the wall meters dry and the soft board and the wet insulation behind it come out.
La Mancha, The Willows, Counterpoint Estates and the canal streets were finished in the 1960s and 1970s with orange peel on half-inch board and sprayed ceilings that a licensed lab tests before anyone sands them; Crestwood and Saratoga Pines carry a heavier 1980s and 1990s orange peel and the first knockdown; Madison Green, Victoria Grove and Bella Terra run knockdown throughout and smooth in the remodeled kitchens. Each is matched on a scrap board against your wall before the repair is textured, and feathered out so there is no edge.
Two appliances cause most of the ceiling and garage repairs in the village: the air handler in a hall closet or the attic, whose condensate line clogs with algae in August and overflows the pan onto the ceiling below, and the water heater in the garage, which lets go onto the slab and soaks the bottom of the garage wall. The AC company clears the line, the plumber replaces the heater, the board reads dry on a meter, then we replace the stained section. The garage wall goes back with the same fire-rated board it had.
A nail pop is the framing drying and pushing the fastener out through the compound; the fix is a screw beside it, the old nail set, two coats and texture, by the room. Everything else is sized against your hand: a backed patch, a paper patch, a framed backer with a new section, or a full sheet screwed to the furring or the studs with every seam taped. Three coats, sanding, texture and primer are the same on all of them.
Block homes from the 1960s and 1970s on canal lots with furring strips, orange peel, sprayed ceilings from before 1980 that get tested before anyone touches them, and fifty years of roof flashings and air handlers. The stain climbing from the baseboard on the canal side, the ceiling ring under the closet, the wall the plumber opened, and fifty years of patches to match. Painted surfaces in a pre-1978 house are handled lead-safe by an EPA-certified crew.
Homes from the 1980s and 1990s with heavier orange peel and early knockdown, trusses that lift the ceiling tape in the dry months, nail pops down the hallways, water heaters in the garage, and the second-floor bath over the kitchen. New board after the leak, nail pops by the room, the garage wall back with the same board.
Gated streets from the late 1990s on with knockdown throughout, tall entries priced after a look, second-floor laundries, settling cracks at the window corners in the first years, and association color schemes. The knob hole, the washer hose, the move-out wall, knockdown matched to the builder's weight and primed for the approved color.
Twenty minutes east on Okeechobee is our West Palm Beach office, whose crew covers the village; the West Palm Beach drywall repair page covers the county permit rule, the condo statute and the water-damage claim in plain words.
Hold your hand over the damage and tell us: smaller than your hand, bigger than your hand, poster-sized, or a whole sheet. We price it on the call, in writing, in under ten minutes.
Water damage is repaired after the source is fixed. If the stain is still wet we tell you who fixes the leak, and we schedule the drywall for when it is dry.
Backing where it needs it, new board cut to fit, every seam taped, three coats of compound sanded smooth, your texture matched, then primer.
Dust contained and the room left clean. Most patches are finished in one visit; a full sheet may need a short second visit for the final coat, scheduled before we leave.
Royal Palm Beach says plainly that most work on a house needs a village building permit, and the code it enforces lists painting, papering and similar finish work as exempt and leaves room for an ordinary minor repair done with the building official's okay and no permit, with a hard stop at any wall, partition or load-bearing support being cut. A drywall patch, a replaced sheet or a ceiling repair in an existing wall is that ordinary repair. Permitted drywall work in the village gets its own inspection, which is one more reason a new opening, a removed wall or framing is a different job, and we say so first. The village has a request form for the new state exemption, but it rules out flood hazard property and the county holds the whole county is one, so nothing here promises it.
An air handler drain that clogged and overflowed is the kind of claim Florida adjusters see every August, and how it reads depends on the story: a pan that overflowed once is closer to the sudden discharge a homeowner policy usually covers, often under a separate water deductible, while a line that dripped all summer reads as maintenance, which the regulator lists among the usual exclusions. A water heater that burst is usually the sudden kind. A block wall wicking from the canal is usually wear. We photograph the ceiling and the source the day you call, keep the AC or plumbing invoice with ours, and write the drywall scope on its own line. The adjuster decides.
The wall and ceiling between the house and an attached garage are fire separation under the Florida Residential Code, half-inch board on the garage side and five-eighths Type X on a garage ceiling under a living space, so when the water heater floods the garage and that wall comes out, it goes back with the same board. In the original village a ceiling sprayed before 1980 may carry asbestos, and a licensed lab samples it before anyone scrapes or sands it, with abatement by a licensed contractor if the lab says so, before our patch.

Call 561-220-5884Call before lunch and a patch, a ceiling section or a garage wall is usually priced before the afternoon storm, and the West Palm Beach crew is out within days. Most patches are finished in one visit; a full sheet may need a short second visit for the final coat.
Only if the damp has somewhere else to go. The wall is wicking from the ground and the sprinkler, so we look at the grade, the heads and the stucco first, let the wall meter dry, then replace the soft board and the wet insulation behind it and finish to match. Patched wet, it is back by the next rainy season.
No; the AC company clears the condensate line and we come after. Once the ceiling reads dry on the meter, the stained section comes out, the joists are checked, new board goes up, taped, three coats, textured and primed. Painted over wet, the ring is back in a month.
Yes. The original village carries a tight orange peel that is sprayed lighter than the knockdown out in Madison Green, and we test on a scrap board against your wall before we texture the repair. If the ceiling was sprayed before 1980 a licensed lab samples it before anyone sands it.
No. A nail pop is the framing pushing the nail out; we set the nail, drive a screw beside it, fill, texture and prime, by the room. It is one of the quickest repairs on the menu.
Three things you can see: the size against your hand, whether water is involved, and the texture to match, plus the ceiling height. A photo by text gets a written number before the visit is booked, in under ten minutes.
Not for a patch, a replaced sheet or a ceiling repair in an existing wall: finish work and ordinary repairs are outside the permit under the code the village enforces. Anything that opens a wall, removes one or touches framing is permitted work, and we ask the village before a bigger job rather than guess.
