The flood cut after a storm, the wall a wind-driven rain soaked through a slider, the ceiling under an upstairs bath, the knob hole in Abacoa: patched, knockdown matched and primed. Written price first.

Jupiter sits between the ocean, the Intracoastal and the Loxahatchee, and Kaminskiy Care and Repair repairs the drywall that water finds there: the wall behind a slider that took wind-driven rain in a September storm, the flood cut along the bottom of a waterfront house after the water came up the dock, the damp stain at the base of a block wall on the river side, the ceiling under a second-floor bath in Abacoa, the sprayed ceiling in a Jupiter Heights ranch with a ring from the roof, the knob hole and the anchor holes after a seasonal tenant leaves. The source is fixed first, the board dries and meters dry, then the soft section comes out and new board goes in, taped, three coats, texture matched, primed. The price is in writing on the call from our West Palm Beach office, and most patches are finished in one visit.
Eight repairs, one crew, priced in writing before we start.
Salt air on three sides, a river at the back fence and a storm season that lasts from June to November: Jupiter drywall takes water from storms, from the humidity in the block and from the baths upstairs. We cut it back to dry, sound board, tape and finish it, match the knockdown of the planned communities and the orange peel of the older middle, and leave it primed so the repair disappears under the association color.

Kaminskiy-certified pros finish the job with a workmanship warranty.
Every drywall repair carries our one-year workmanship warranty, in writing, and is done by a Kaminskiy-certified, background checked technician.
Three ways. Storms: a wind-driven rain finds the slider track or the window frame and runs down inside the wall, and on the river and inlet lots the water itself comes in, which is a flood cut, drywall removed a foot above the water line and the cavity dried before new board goes in. Humidity: the block holds the wet season's water and pushes it inward, so the bottom of an exterior wall stains and softens. Plumbing: the baths and laundries on the second floor of the Abacoa and Jupiter Country Club two-stories put water over the living rooms. The repair is the same craft each time; the drying is not, and we meter the wall before we close it.
Abacoa, Jupiter Country Club and Egret Landing were finished in knockdown from the 1990s on; Jupiter Heights, Pine Gardens, Maplewood and Indian Creek carry the 1970s and 1980s orange peel on half-inch board and sprayed ceilings from before 1980 that a licensed lab tests before anyone sands them; the waterfront remodels run smooth. By the water the steel corner bead under the compound rusts in the salt air and blisters the paint in a line down the corner, and the fix is new vinyl or galvanized bead, finished and textured. Each finish is matched on a test board against your wall.
The source first: the window company, the roofer, the plumber, or simply the storm passing. Then the dry-out, with the board reading dry on a meter, because new drywall over a wet cavity stains again and grows what nobody wants. Then the soft section comes out, the furring or the studs behind it are checked, and new board goes in with every seam taped. A dry spot of mildew the size of a hand we cut out; a wall that stayed wet for days or a dark patch bigger than a dinner plate is a licensed mold remediation company's job before ours, and we say so on the first call.
Smaller than your hand: a backed patch. Bigger than your hand and smaller than a laptop: a paper patch. Poster-sized: a framed backer and a new section. A flood cut, a soaked run along a slider, or anything larger: full sheets screwed to the furring or the studs, every seam taped. The three coats, the sanding, the texture and the primer are the same for all four, and a ceiling over eight feet in a two-story entry is priced on the call after a look.
Ocean, Intracoastal and Loxahatchee lots in flood zones, with smooth and knockdown finishes, salt air that rusts the corner bead, and storm water that comes under the slider or up from the dock. The flood cut after a storm, the damp stain at the base of the water-side wall, and the ceiling under the second-floor master bath. Dried and metered first, then new board, new bead where it rusted, finished to match.
Block ranches from the 1970s and 1980s between US-1 and I-95 with orange peel, sprayed ceilings from before 1980 that a licensed lab tests first, galvanized supply lines a plumber opens a wall to replace, and a roof flashing that rings the hallway ceiling. The humidity stain along the bottom of an exterior wall and forty years of patches to match, primed for paint.
Communities from the 1990s through the 2010s with knockdown texture, tall entries, laundries and baths on the second floor, and strict association schemes. Settling cracks at the window corners in the first years, the knob hole in the hallway, the washer hose that let go, and move-out walls with anchor holes by the room. Knockdown matched with the hopper and the knife width the builder used, then primed for the approved color.
South of the town line the same crew covers the county from our West Palm Beach office; the West Palm Beach drywall repair page has the county-wide picture, the block-wall humidity story and the water-damage claim in plain words.
Hold your hand over the damage and tell us: smaller than your hand, bigger than your hand, poster-sized, or a whole sheet. We price it on the call, in writing, in under ten minutes.
Water damage is repaired after the source is fixed. If the stain is still wet we tell you who fixes the leak, and we schedule the drywall for when it is dry.
Backing where it needs it, new board cut to fit, every seam taped, three coats of compound sanded smooth, your texture matched, then primer.
Dust contained and the room left clean. Most patches are finished in one visit; a full sheet may need a short second visit for the final coat, scheduled before we leave.
The Town of Jupiter publishes its own list of items that need no permit, and painting, papering, tiling and similar finish work are on it, along with replacement or repair work under a set value that does not affect the structure or a fire rating; a drywall patch, a replaced sheet or a ceiling repair in an existing wall is that kind of work. The town says all construction in a flood zone goes on the record against the point where a project counts as a substantial improvement, and a flood cut around a whole floor can be part of that count, so we tell you before a bigger job. A new opening, a removed wall or framing is a permit, and we do not promise the state's small-job exemption, which excludes flood hazard property.
A homeowner policy and a flood policy pay for different water. Wind-driven rain through a window or a roof opened by the storm is usually the homeowner policy and its hurricane deductible; water that rose from the river, the inlet or the street is flood, which the homeowner policy does not cover and the flood policy does; a slow leak or a block wall that has wicked for years is usually neither. Keep a piece of the cut drywall that shows the water line, photograph everything before the dry-out, and we write the drywall scope on its own line. The adjusters decide; we repair the board after it reads dry.
The flood cut is done the way the federal guidance describes it: wallboard removed to a foot above the water mark, the cavity opened and drained, the insulation behind it discarded, and nothing closed until the framing or the furring reads dry on a meter. In a Jupiter Heights or Pine Gardens ranch the ceiling may have been sprayed before 1980, and a licensed lab samples it before anyone scrapes or sands; abatement, if needed, is a licensed contractor's job before our patch, and a painted surface in a pre-1978 house is handled lead-safe by an EPA-certified crew.

Call 561-220-5884We answer in under three rings and come up from our West Palm Beach office, usually within days. The price is in writing on the call; most patches are finished in one visit, and a flood cut or a full sheet is scheduled in two so the final coat goes on dry board.
Once the water is gone and the slider is sealed, we meter the wall. If the bottom of the drywall is soft it comes out to a foot above the water line, the wet insulation behind it goes with it, the cavity dries, and new board goes in, taped, finished, textured and primed. If the wall stayed wet for days a licensed mold remediation company looks first.
After the plumber has fixed the source and the ceiling reads dry on the meter, yes: the stained section comes out, the joists are checked, new board goes up, taped, three coats, knockdown matched and primed. A still-wet or sagging ceiling is priced on the call after a look.
It is the steel corner bead under the compound rusting in the salt air and pushing the paint off. The fix is new vinyl or galvanized bead, finished, textured and primed, and the paint holds afterward.
Yes. It is the finish on nearly every wall in Abacoa and the newer communities, and matching it is a matter of the splatter size, the wait and the width of the knife. Our technicians test on a scrap board against your wall before they texture the repair.
How much came out, whether water was involved, the finish to match and the height: hand-sized, poster-sized, a sheet or a flood cut around a room; dry or soaked; knockdown, orange peel or smooth; eight feet or a two-story entry. Text a photo and the price comes back in writing before anything is scheduled.
Yes. One hole, one crack or one rusted corner is a quick visit, and a room with up to fifteen nail and anchor holes between seasonal tenants is a menu item of its own.
