The soaked lower wall on a canal lot after a storm, the beach condo wall after the unit above, the 1960s ceiling tested first, the knob hole and the move-out wall, patched, textured and primed. Priced in writing on the call.

Kaminskiy Care and Repair patches and finishes drywall in Pompano Beach homes and condos from the office on South Andrews Avenue: the lower wall of a Garden Isles canal house cut out and replaced after a storm surge, the beach condo wall that went wet when the unit above lost a supply line, the sprayed 1960s ceiling in Cresthaven with a roof stain that is tested before anyone touches it, the knockdown in a Palm Aire townhome, the knob hole, the anchor holes after a tenant. New board where the old is soft, every seam taped, three coats, texture matched, primer. Water damage waits for the house to dry and the source to be fixed. The price is in writing on the call, and most patches are finished in one visit.
Eight repairs, one crew, priced in writing before we start.
Pompano Beach is canals, beach condos and a 1950s to 1970s core, and water reaches the drywall in each a different way: up through the door on a canal lot in a surge, down from the unit above in a stacked building, in at the eave or the window in the old core. We cut the flooded wall above the waterline, dry it and replace the board; we repair the condo wall after the source is fixed; we test the old sprayed ceiling by a licensed lab before anyone sands it; and the texture is matched on a test board every time.

Kaminskiy-certified pros finish the job with a workmanship warranty.
Every drywall repair carries our one-year workmanship warranty, in writing, and is done by a Kaminskiy-certified, background checked technician.
On the canal lots east of Federal Highway a surge or a king tide comes through the door and the drywall wicks it up past the line you can see; the cut goes above the high-water mark, the insulation comes out, the block dries and meters dry, then new board goes in. In the beach and Palm Aire condos the water comes down from the unit above and the association sorts out who pays. In the old core it comes in at the eave, the jalousie or the air handler closet. Each source is fixed by its own trade before our board goes on.
Old Pompano, Cresthaven and Kendall Green were finished in the 1950s to 1970s with orange peel on drywall over furring and a sprayed ceiling; Palm Aire and the west side from the 1980s on run knockdown; the beach condos are mostly smooth. A ceiling sprayed before 1980 is sampled by a licensed lab before anyone scrapes it, and abatement, if needed, is a licensed contractor's job before our patch. The texture is matched on a scrap board held against the wall before the repair is sprayed.
Before anyone cuts a flooded wall, photograph the waterline on every wall and keep a cut piece of the wet board: the flood adjuster wants evidence that the board above the cut was wet, and a cut made too high without it has been denied. Rising water is the flood policy; a burst pipe, a failed handler or a storm through the roof is the homeowner policy, possibly with the hurricane deductible. We write the drywall scope on its own line for whichever adjuster is reading it.
Smaller than your hand: a backed patch. Bigger than your hand, smaller than a laptop: a paper patch. Poster-sized: a backer and a new section. Soft from water, or a whole sheet: new board, every seam taped, screwed to the furring on a block wall because there is no stud cavity behind it. Three coats, sanding, texture and primer on all of them. The flood cut is the last one, wall by wall, once the meter says dry.
Canal lots with seawalls and the condos along the beach, salt in the air every day. The flooded lower wall after a surge, the damp band at the base of a wall after a king tide, rust at the corner bead, and the condo wall under the unit above. Much of this ground is in a flood zone, which matters for the claim and the permit. We dry, cut, replace, match the finish and prime.
Block ranches from the 1950s to the 1970s with orange peel over furring, sprayed ceilings that are tested by a licensed lab before anyone disturbs them, jalousie windows and the air handler in a closet. The roof stain at the eave, the ring under the handler, the furring-seam crack, the knob hole, the room of anchor holes after a tenant. The source first, then the board, then the texture.
Townhomes, newer homes and the Palm Aire condos, knockdown and smooth, in associations. Shared walls repaired on your side with the neighbor told, the condo ceiling after the unit above, the knob hole in a two-story hallway, the garage wall put back with the code board. The scheme color stays; the repair leaves primed for it.
Pompano Beach is covered from the South Andrews Avenue office, and the Fort Lauderdale drywall repair page carries the Broward-wide picture: the county permit rule, the storm-water claim and the condo statute in plain words.
Hold your hand over the damage and tell us: smaller than your hand, bigger than your hand, poster-sized, or a whole sheet. We price it on the call, in writing, in under ten minutes.
Water damage is repaired after the source is fixed. If the stain is still wet we tell you who fixes the leak, and we schedule the drywall for when it is dry.
Backing where it needs it, new board cut to fit, every seam taped, three coats of compound sanded smooth, your texture matched, then primer.
Dust contained and the room left clean. Most patches are finished in one visit; a full sheet may need a short second visit for the final coat, scheduled before we leave.
Pompano Beach runs the 2026 state exemption through its own ePlan portal: a single-family job whose building portion is under the set value can be exempted on request, the city lists drywall repair and finishing that is not structural among the work that qualifies, Building Services answers within a few business days, and a home in a flood zone is not eligible, which rules out most of the canal lots. Below that, Broward's amendment exempts small general maintenance and the state code leaves ordinary minor repairs to the building official. A patch or a replaced sheet in an existing wall is that; a new opening or a removed wall is a permit, and we say which on the call.
Water that rose off the canal is a flood claim with its own policy and adjuster; water from a burst line, a failed handler or a storm through the roof is the homeowner policy, and a named storm may bring the hurricane deductible. Photograph the waterline and the source before cleanup, keep a piece of the wet board, keep every invoice, and expect the adjuster to ask when it started; a damp band that has been at the base of a wall for years usually reads as maintenance. We fix the drywall after the source is fixed and the wall meters dry, and our scope is its own line.
In the buildings along the beach and in Palm Aire the leak and the wall belong to different owners, and Florida's condominium statute puts the drywall as originally installed on the association's policy and the paint and coverings on the owner's; an owner whose negligence caused the loss pays what insurance does not, and the declaration decides the rest. Tell the association in writing the day the wall goes wet. We repair your side once the source is fixed and the board is dry, and write the scope so the board can read it.

Call 954-787-3186Usually within days, from the office on South Andrews Avenue. The price is in writing on the call, and most patches are finished in one visit; a flooded wall is scheduled once it meters dry and usually takes two visits.
We cut the board above the waterline, pull the wet insulation, let the block and furring dry and meter them, then hang new board and finish the seam so the line disappears. Before anyone cuts, photograph the waterline on every wall and keep a cut piece for the flood adjuster.
We repair the wall on your side once the source is fixed and the board reads dry. Who pays is the declaration and the policies: the statute puts the drywall on the association and the paint on you. We write the scope as its own line for the board and the adjusters.
After the roofer fixes the leak, the ceiling dries and a licensed lab has sampled the sprayed finish, yes, because a ceiling from before 1980 may carry asbestos; if abatement is needed a licensed contractor does it before our part. We never scrape an untested older ceiling.
Yes. Knockdown is matched by the splatter, the wait and the knife, tested on a scrap board held against your wall before the repair is sprayed. The association sees a wall, not a patch, and the scheme color goes on over our primer.
Size, water, texture and height: hand-sized, poster-sized or a whole sheet; dry, leak-damaged or flooded; orange peel, knockdown or smooth; eight feet or a vaulted room. Say which on the call and the price is in writing in under ten minutes.
Not for a patch, a replaced sheet or a ceiling repair in an existing wall: the state code leaves ordinary minor repairs to the building official, Broward exempts small general maintenance, and the city will exempt a small single-family job on request, drywall repair named among the examples, outside a flood zone. New openings or removed walls are a permit, and we say so first.
