Knockdown matched in the association communities, the garage wall put back with the right board, the ceiling under the air handler and the knob hole, patched and primed. Priced in writing on the call.

Kaminskiy Care and Repair patches and finishes drywall in Plantation homes from the office downtown on South Andrews Avenue: the knockdown in a Jacaranda two-story matched so the association never knows, the garage wall opened by a car door and put back with the half-inch board the code asks for, the ceiling ring under an air handler in the garage attic, the 1950s east-side ceiling with a stain from a roof under the oaks, the knob hole in a hallway, the move-out wall by the room. New board where the old is soft, taped seams, three coats, knockdown or orange peel matched, primer. Water waits for the source to be fixed and the board to meter dry. The price is in writing on the call, and most patches are finished in one visit.
Eight repairs, one crew, priced in writing before we start.
Plantation is association country from University Drive west and oak canopy east of it, and the walls follow: knockdown in the 1970s to 1990s lake communities, orange peel and the odd sprayed ceiling in the 1950s and 1960s streets of Plantation Park and the Isles, smooth walls in the Acres rebuilds. Knockdown is the hard one to match, and it is the one most Plantation calls need: the right splatter, the right wait, the right knife.

Kaminskiy-certified pros finish the job with a workmanship warranty.
Every drywall repair carries our one-year workmanship warranty, in writing, and is done by a Kaminskiy-certified, background checked technician.
Jacaranda, Lauderdale West and the lake communities between University Drive and Nob Hill Road were finished in knockdown, and a knockdown patch is the easiest repair to get wrong: too much splatter and it reads as a blob, too long a wait and it will not flatten, the wrong knife and the pattern changes. Our technicians spray a test on a scrap board, time the wait against the wall, knock it down with the width of knife the original finisher used, and hold it in raking light before primer. The association scheme goes on over it untouched.
The wall and ceiling between the house and an attached garage are fire separation under the Florida Residential Code: at least half-inch gypsum board on the garage side, and five-eighths Type X on a garage ceiling under a living space. A car door, a bicycle or a water heater that went through it is a full-sheet repair, and the sheet goes back with the same board the code asks for, taped and finished, not with a thinner piece because it is only the garage. We carry both.
West of University Drive the air handler is often in the garage attic or a hall closet, and when the condensate drain clogs in the wet season the ceiling below it rings. East of it, the 1950s and 1960s houses sit under the oldest trees in the city and the roofs take branches and leaf dams, so the stain shows at the ceiling under a valley after a storm. The air conditioning company or the roofer fixes the source, the board dries and meters dry, then we cut out the stained section and replace it. Dark growth beyond a dinner plate is a licensed mold remediation company's job first.
Plantation callers size the job with a hand over the hole: covered by the hand, a backed patch; past the hand but under a laptop, a paper patch; a poster's worth, a framed backer with a new section let in; bigger than that, or gone soft from water, a full sheet screwed to the furring or the studs with every seam taped. None of the four skips the three coats, the sanding, the knockdown or the primer, which is exactly what the filler-and-paint patch from the last owner skipped.
Block homes from the 1950s and 1960s under the oldest oaks in the city, orange peel on drywall over furring, sprayed ceilings that are tested by a licensed lab before anyone disturbs them, and roofs that take the storms through the canopy. The roof stain on the ceiling, the furring-seam crack, the knob hole and the stain at the base of a canal-lot wall. The roofer first, then the board, then the texture.
Two-story association homes from the 1970s to the 1990s, knockdown throughout, the air handler in the garage attic, the bath over the family room, the garage wall that takes the car door. The ceiling ring under the handler, the knockdown patch matched by eye, the garage wall put back to code, and the scheme color left for the painter. Shared walls in the townhome products are repaired with the neighbor told and the documents read.
Acre lots with houses rebuilt and enlarged over forty years, smooth and skip-trowel walls, tall ceilings priced after a look, and barns and workshops with drywall of three different eras in one building. Cracks follow the addition seams; the smooth wall gets the wider feather and the raking-light check; the tall family room ceiling over eight feet is priced on the call after we have seen it.
Plantation is covered from the South Andrews Avenue office downtown, and the Fort Lauderdale drywall repair page has the Broward-wide picture: the county permit rule, the storm-water claim and the condo statute in plain words.
Hold your hand over the damage and tell us: smaller than your hand, bigger than your hand, poster-sized, or a whole sheet. We price it on the call, in writing, in under ten minutes.
Water damage is repaired after the source is fixed. If the stain is still wet we tell you who fixes the leak, and we schedule the drywall for when it is dry.
Backing where it needs it, new board cut to fit, every seam taped, three coats of compound sanded smooth, your texture matched, then primer.
Dust contained and the room left clean. Most patches are finished in one visit; a full sheet may need a short second visit for the final coat, scheduled before we leave.
Plantation reads its permit rule tightly: the city says a permit comes before the construction, enlargement, alteration or repair of any building, and the Broward amendments to the Florida Building Code let general maintenance and repairs under a set cost go ahead without one when the Building Official reads them that way; the state code lets ordinary minor repairs be made with the building official's approval, as long as no wall is cut away and nothing structural is touched. A patch, a replaced sheet in an existing wall or a ceiling repair sits on that side of the line, and for a bigger job we ask the Building Department before rather than guess. The 2026 state exemption for small single-family work is a request the city decides, never in a flood zone, and we do not promise it.
A handler that overflowed, a burst line or a storm through the roof is usually a covered loss; a drain that dripped for a year or a roof leak that was painted over twice usually reads as maintenance to the adjuster, and a named storm may carry the hurricane deductible. Photograph the stain and the source the day you find them, keep the invoice from the air conditioning company or the roofer, and we write the drywall scope as its own line. The source is fixed, the board dries and meters dry, then we replace the drywall, never the other way round.
Jacaranda, Lauderdale West and most of the lake communities are associations; an interior drywall repair needs no approval, and a shared wall in a townhome or water from the unit above is settled by the documents and the association's policy, with Florida's condominium statute putting the drywall on the association and the paint on the owner where the building is a condominium. The wall and ceiling between the house and the garage are fire separation under the Florida Residential Code, so a full-sheet repair there goes back with the same half-inch or five-eighths Type X board.

Call 954-787-3186Usually within days, from the office on South Andrews Avenue. The price is in writing on the call, and most patches are finished in one visit; a full sheet, a garage wall or a smooth-wall finish may need a short second visit for the final coat.
Yes. Knockdown is matched by spraying the right splatter, waiting the right number of minutes and knocking it down with the width of knife the original finisher used, and we test on a scrap board held against your wall first. The repair leaves primed for the scheme color, and the association sees a wall, not a patch.
It is a full-sheet repair on a fire-separation wall, so the new sheet is the same half-inch board the code asks for, or five-eighths Type X if it is the garage ceiling under a bedroom, taped and finished. Priced on the call like any other sheet, with the right board.
Yes, once the air conditioning company has cleared the drain and the meter says the ceiling is dry: our technician cuts the ring out, checks the framing in the garage attic, hangs new board, tapes it, three coats, knockdown, primer. A ceiling that is still dripping or sagging when you call is priced after we have seen it.
The roofer fixes the roof, the ceiling dries, and a licensed lab samples the sprayed finish before anyone scrapes it, because a ceiling from before 1980 may carry asbestos; if abatement is needed a licensed contractor does it first. Then we replace the stained section, finish and prime it.
By what you can measure: smaller than your hand, bigger than your hand, poster-sized or a whole sheet; water or no water; knockdown, orange peel or smooth; eight feet or a tall Acres ceiling. Tell us those four on the call and the written price comes back in under ten minutes.
Yes. One knob hole, one crack, one corner is a welcome call, and a Lauderdale West rental with a room of nail and anchor holes is a menu item of its own.
