Posts reset on the slope, pickets matched to your association's profile, sagging gates rehung square. Priced on the call, usually finished in one visit.

Kaminskiy Care and Repair repairs wood fences and gates across Laguna Niguel, from Niguel Summit and Beacon Hill to Marina Hills, Niguel West and the Crown Valley streets. Posts that have let a hillside run rack are reset deeper in fresh concrete, pickets are matched to the profile your association expects, and gates that drag are rehung square, usually in one visit. You get the price on the call, in writing, before anything is scheduled, and we keep every board that is still sound. Since 2005, from our Orange County office on Michelson Drive.

Hillside lots, afternoon wind off the ocean and association standards on nearly every street shape a Laguna Niguel fence. We reset the posts, match the wood and the stain the HOA expects, and rehang the gate so it latches with one hand. Same fence, standing straight.

Slope and water. Most of Laguna Niguel was built on hillsides in the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s, and a fence on a slope carries its own weight downhill. Irrigation keeps the posts wet at grade, one post rots through, and the whole run racks; the afternoon wind off the ocean finishes it. The pickets usually look fine. The fix is a deeper post in fresh concrete and a re-plumbed run, not a new fence.
A like-for-like repair needs nothing. California exempts fences up to seven feet from a building permit, and Laguna Niguel's zoning keeps a fence in the front setback to 42 inches, a side or rear fence to six feet, and the corner sight triangle at an intersection to 18 inches. The approval that matters here is usually the association's, and a matching repair rarely needs one.
Reset posts and matching pickets fix most fences for a fraction of the cost of a new one, and that is the work we do. Whole-fence replacement, vinyl and iron are not our lane. If that is what the fence needs, we say so on the call, and we still fix the gate and the sections that can be saved.
A pool gate should close and latch on its own, with the latch release at least 60 inches up. That is the standard in California's Swimming Pool Safety Act, and it is the first thing we check on a pool fence. The gap the dog found at the bottom is a rail and a picket, fixed in the same visit.
Slopes, view lots and long side-yard runs that carry their own weight downhill. One rotted post lets a whole section rack, and the ocean wind finishes it. We reset the post deeper in concrete, re-plumb the run and brace the gate so it stops dragging on the walk.
1970s and 1980s fences on posts that have spent forty years in irrigated soil. The posts go at the ground line while the pickets above still look fine, so the run leans. We reset the failed posts and match the dog-ear or board-on-board profile the association uses.
Newer fences with newer failures: a builder-set post that was never deep enough, a gate that never latched right, rail screws backing out of pressure-treated wood as it dries. HOA design standards are strict here, so we photograph the existing fence and match it exactly.
We price the repair on the call, in writing, before anything is scheduled.
Posts, rails, pickets, hardware and concrete come along, so a post reset, a picket swap or a gate rehang is finished the same day we arrive.
A gate that is done gets a new single wood gate built on site, up to four feet wide. A fallen section is rebuilt on the existing posts.
The work area is cleaned before we leave, and every repair carries our one-year workmanship warranty.
California exempts fences up to seven feet from a building permit. Laguna Niguel's zoning keeps a fence in the front setback to 42 inches and a side or rear fence to six feet, measured from the finished grade at the fence, with an 18-inch limit inside the corner sight triangle at an intersection. A like-for-like repair changes nothing, and we check before building anything new.
California's Swimming Pool Safety Act expects a pool barrier gate to close and latch on its own, with the latch release at least 60 inches above the ground. If your pool gate drags open or the latch no longer catches, that is the first thing we fix.
Nearly every Laguna Niguel home is in an association, and most do not need to approve a repair that matches the existing fence. A new gate, a new section or a different stain sometimes needs a form. We can give you the materials and finish in writing for it.

Call 714-844-1582We answer in under three rings, price most fence and gate repairs on the call, and usually schedule within days. The technician brings posts, rails, pickets, hardware and concrete, so a post reset, a picket swap or a gate rehang is finished in one visit.
Yes. Most fence and gate repairs are exactly handyman work: posts, rails, pickets, hinges and latches. Kaminskiy is licensed, bonded and insured, so a rebuilt section or a new gate is not a problem either.
It depends on three things: how many posts have failed, how much wood needs replacing, and how easy the fence is to reach, which on a slope matters. Tell us what the fence is doing, or text a photo, and we give you the price on the call, in writing, before anything is scheduled. No surprises at the house.
Yes. We reset the post deeper and in more concrete than the builder did, re-plumb the run against the hill and brace the gate. If the slope itself has moved, we say so on the call; that is a retaining-wall job, not a fence job.
A repair that matches the existing fence almost always does. We match the picket profile, the spacing and the stain your association uses, and new boards weather to match within a season or are stained to match on the day. If the association wants paperwork, we put the materials and finish in writing.
No. We repair wood fences and gates: posts, pickets, rails, sections, gates and staining. Whole-fence replacement, vinyl fencing, iron work and electric gate openers are not our lane. If your fence needs one of those, we tell you on the call and still fix what can be saved.
