Fascia, sills, door jambs and deck rails cut out and rebuilt with sound wood, matched to the association scheme. Priced in writing before we start.

Kaminskiy Care and Repair rebuilds rotted and termite-damaged wood on Danville homes, from the hundred-year-old wood houses in Old Town to the stucco villages off Camino Tassajara: fascia and eave trim, window sills, door jambs at the slab, wood siding, deck boards, rails and posts, cut back to sound wood, rebuilt with the same profile, primed, painted to the association's color and sealed, with the water path fixed. A licensed pest company treats the termites; we rebuild what they ate, after them. The price is in writing before anything starts, from our Walnut Creek office twenty minutes up the 680. Since 2023 our technicians have completed 233 repair visits on 104 Danville homes.
Eight repairs, one crew, priced in writing before we start.
Danville's trim takes the Diablo sun in summer and the valley rain in winter, and on the planned streets it has to go back to the HOA's exact color and profile. We cut back to sound wood, rebuild, prime, paint to the scheme and close the gap the water used.

Kaminskiy-certified pros finish the job with a workmanship warranty.
Every rot and termite damage repair carries our one-year workmanship warranty, in writing, and is done by a Kaminskiy-certified, background checked technician.
Two kinds of house, two kinds of rot. Old Town and the west side have wood houses from the early 1900s through the 1950s, with wood siding, porch posts and wood-framed windows that rot at the bottom where the ground and the sprinklers keep them wet. The valley streets and the east side are stucco from the 1970s on, with wood fascia, pop-out sills and garage door jambs that fail where the summer sun checks the paint and the winter rain follows it into the end grain. We look at the ground line on the old houses and the sunny walls on the new ones.
The western subterranean termite is the one that eats Danville wood: it lives in the soil, needs the moisture there, and builds mud tubes up a stem wall or a post to reach the sill plate, swarming on a clear afternoon after a soaking rain. Drywood termites, the pellet-leaving kind common in Southern California, are rare here. A licensed pest company treats the colony; we cut out and rebuild what it ate, scheduled after them so the wall opens once.
On the planned streets a rot repair has to disappear: the same trim profile, the same color, the same sheen. We photograph the existing profile, mill or source the match, back-prime it, and paint to the association's scheme, so the repair passes the board's eye as well as the next rain.
Keep the sprinklers off the stucco and the siding, and keep soil and mulch below the weep screed or the bottom board. Clear the gutters before the first storm. Repaint the south and west walls before the paint fails, and on an Old Town house keep the porch posts off the wet ground with a proper base.
Wood houses from the early 1900s through the 1950s on mature lots, with wood siding, porch posts, wood-framed windows and deep shade. The bottom courses of siding, the sills, the jamb bottoms and the base of every post go first, and subterranean termites travel up where soil has built against the wood. We splice new wood into the old, match the profile and get the grade back below the wood line.
1970s and 1980s stucco homes with wood fascia, eave trim, pop-out sills, patio covers and pool yards. The sun splits the paint on the west faces, the rain follows it into the fascia and the sills, and the sprinklers keep the garage door jamb wet at the slab. We rebuild the boards, match the color and fix the drip edge or the caulk line that failed.
Newer stucco homes with foam trim and strict association standards, and hillside lots with decks and railings facing the weather. The rot hides where wood is still used: wood-clad sills, door jambs on the slab, deck boards and rail posts. We photograph the profile, match it, rebuild boards and rails where they stand and name a ledger problem before anyone opens a wall.
Danville is one stop for a crew that covers the whole Bay from Walnut Creek and Sunnyvale; the Bay Area dry rot and wood rot repair page lays out the regional picture and every city's permit desk in plain words.
A fascia board, a sill or a trim piece is priced on the call, in writing. A bigger rebuild gets a look first and a written price before anything starts.
We cut back to sound wood and probe how far the rot really goes. If it runs further than the photo showed, you hear it before we go further, with the price.
New wood primed on all sides, caulked, painted to match, and the water path that caused it fixed: the drip edge, the flashing, the gutter end, the sprinkler.
The work area is cleaned before we leave, and every rot repair carries our one-year workmanship warranty.
Danville reads the rule tightly: its Building Division's FAQ says a permit is required for most construction and repair projects and lists alterations, remodels and repairs, decks and patios among them. The state residential code the town builds to still asks no application for ordinary repairs to a structure, and draws the line at cutting a structural beam or a load-bearing support. A fascia board, a sill or a jamb is an ordinary repair; a deck rebuild, a porch, or rot into framing is not, and for anything in between we ask the town before we price it rather than guess.
A Danville sale carries a termite report from a licensed structural pest control company, and on an Old Town house the list can be long. Section 1 is the visible evidence: active termites or the damage they and fungus left. Section 2 is what invites them, like earth against the siding. The pest company treats and certifies; we rebuild the wood on the list, siding to sills to porch posts, and they reinspect when we are done. Send the report with the address and the repairs come back priced from it.
Most of Danville's planned streets, and Blackhawk and Diablo next door, have associations with exterior standards, and Blackhawk and Diablo are county land with their own rules. A rot repair painted to the scheme rarely needs a form; a changed trim profile, a new railing or a different color sometimes does, and we give you the materials and finish in writing for it. Old Town mostly has no association, and its older houses answer to the town instead.

Call 925-302-5955A sill, a jamb or a fascia board is priced on the call and usually scheduled within days from our Walnut Creek office. A deck, a porch or a rebuild into framing is sized after a look, with the scope in writing before anything starts.
Yes, after a licensed pest company has treated the colony. We cut out the eaten sill plates, trim, siding and the framing we can reach, and rebuild it. Treatment and the report are theirs; the rebuild is ours, and we schedule it after them.
Yes. Siding, sills, jambs, porch posts and trim are carpentry, and Kaminskiy is licensed, bonded and insured, so a splice into a stud or a porch beam end is fine too. If the rot has reached a beam that carries a roof or a deck ledger, we say so first and tell you who needs to look at it.
The size of the rebuild once the wood is opened, the height and the access, and the match: an association color and a milled trim profile take longer than a plain fascia board. Text a photo and the price is in writing before anything is scheduled.
Danville asks for a permit on most construction and repair work, including decks and patios, while the state code it builds to asks none for an ordinary repair like a fascia board, a sill or a jamb. Rot in a beam or a load-bearing support is a permit and an engineer. We tell you which on the call, and we ask the town before a bigger job.
Yes. Give us the association's scheme or the paint code, or we match from the existing trim, and the repair is primed and painted to it. We put the materials and the finish in writing if the board asks.
