Soft fascia, soffit, door jambs and deck boards cut out and rebuilt with sound wood, from our office on Corporate Drive. You get the price before we start.

Kaminskiy Care and Repair rebuilds rotted and termite-eaten wood on Boynton Beach homes from an office on Corporate Drive: the fascia and soffit behind an overflowing gutter, the garage and entry door jambs the sprinkler hits, the wood trim on the older houses east of I-95, the deck and dock boards on the Intracoastal and the lake lots, and the pergola beams out west. Cut back to sound wood, rebuilt, primed on every face, painted to match the house or the association scheme, and the leak that fed it closed. The pest company treats the termites first; we rebuild after. The price is in writing before anything is scheduled.
Eight repairs, one crew, priced in writing before we start.
Boynton Beach wood rots from the top and the bottom at once: the gutter floods the fascia in the wet season while the sprinkler and the sand keep the jamb bottoms and the posts damp for the termites. We open it up, cut to sound wood, rebuild and paint, and stop the water at its source.

The gutter and the sprinkler. Boynton Beach houses are mostly block and stucco, so the wood is up at the roofline and down at the slab: fascia and soffit above, door jambs, posts and deck boards below. From June through October the gutters back up over the fascia every afternoon, and at the ground the twice-a-week irrigation keeps the jamb bottoms and the post bases wet in sandy soil that drains straight into the wood. East of I-95 the older houses carry more wood and the salt air lifts the paint sooner. We look at the gutter ends and the sprinkler heads first.
The Formosan subterranean termite comes up from the sand in mud tubes and fills what it eats with dirt, and it is established along this coast. The West Indian drywood termite needs no soil at all: it lives inside dry fascia, trim and door casings on the older east-side houses and leaves hard pellets below a pinhole. A licensed pest company tells you which it is and treats it. We rebuild the wood after the treatment, in that order, so nothing gets opened twice.
Not a smear of filler. The soft wood comes out back to a sound edge, the new piece is cut to the same profile, primed on every face including the end grain, set, caulked and painted to match. On a fascia that means the drip edge goes back right; on a jamb it means the bottom is sealed before it meets the slab again.
Clear the gutters in May and again after the first big storm. Move the sprinkler heads that hit the garage jamb, the posts and the stucco. Keep mulch below the stucco line so subterranean termites have no bridge to the wood. Rinse the salt off the east-side trim and repaint it before the paint fails, not after.
The oldest houses in the city, some of them frame, most block with wood fascia, soffit, trim and the original door frames, a few blocks from the Intracoastal. Salt air lifts the paint, the summer rain gets behind it, and drywood termites take the old trim. We rebuild the fascia and the jambs, splice siding on the frame houses and match the trim profile.
Communities from the 1970s and 1980s with association standards and forty years of gutters. Fascia and soffit rot behind the overflow, patio cover beams go soft at the ends, and garage door jambs crumble at the slab. We rebuild to the association scheme and fix the gutter end that caused it.
Newer homes, some inside the city and many with a Boynton Beach address in the unincorporated county, with foam trim and little exposed wood. The rot hides at garage door jambs on the slab, pergola beams, dock boards and deck railings on the lake lots. We match the profile and tell you which rule book the address follows.
The crew that covers the rest of Palm Beach County from our West Palm Beach office is the same one; the West Palm Beach dry rot and wood rot repair page explains the county permit rule, the WDO report and the historic districts up the coast.
A fascia board, a sill or a trim piece is priced on the call, in writing. A bigger rebuild gets a look first and a written price before anything starts.
We cut back to sound wood and probe how far the rot really goes. If it runs further than the photo showed, you hear it before we go further, with the price.
New wood primed on all sides, caulked, painted to match, and the water path that caused it fixed: the drip edge, the flashing, the gutter end, the sprinkler.
The work area is cleaned before we leave, and every rot repair carries our one-year workmanship warranty.
Boynton Beach builds under the Florida Building Code, which asks for a permit to repair a structure, and lets the building official approve an ordinary minor repair without one as long as nothing cuts a structural beam or a load-bearing support. Painting needs no permit. Many addresses west of Lawrence Road are in the unincorporated county, whose own list says a minor soffit, fascia, siding or decking repair under a set value needs no permit when no structural member is involved. We check your address on the call and ask the right building department before a bigger job. The city takes requests under the new state exemption, but we do not promise it: the county holds it does not apply here.
When a Boynton Beach home sells, a licensed pest control company writes the Wood-Destroying Organisms Inspection Report on the state form. It covers termites, powder post beetles, old house borers and wood-decaying fungi, so plain rot is on it too, and the form itself says it is not a structural damage report. Send it to us with the address: we price the fascia, jambs, siding and deck boards it lists, the pest company treats what needs treating, and the inspector comes back to see the repairs.
A Boynton Beach mailing address can be inside the city, in the unincorporated county, or in one of the associations from Leisureville to the communities out past Lawrence Road, and each has its own say on a rot repair. A repair painted to match the existing trim rarely needs an association form; a changed profile or color sometimes does. We tell you on the call which rule book your address answers to and put the materials and finish in writing for any form.

Call 561-220-5884Our office is on Corporate Drive and we answer in under three rings. A fascia board, a soffit panel or a jamb is priced on the call and usually on the schedule within days; a deck, a dock or a whole eave gets a look first and a written scope.
Yes. Once the licensed pest company has treated, we cut out the eaten fascia, soffit, trim, jambs and the framing we can reach, and rebuild it. We schedule after them on purpose. Treatment, fumigation and the report are theirs; the carpentry is ours.
Most of it, yes: fascia, soffit, sills, jambs, trim, siding and deck boards are what our technicians do every day, and Kaminskiy is licensed, bonded and insured. A rafter, a beam or a deck ledger gets named before anyone opens a wall.
The length of the rotted run, how much comes out once it is opened, the height, and the finish it has to match. A jamb bottom at the slab and a two-story fascia run are different visits. Send a photo and the price is in writing before anything is scheduled.
Yes. We replace the soft boards, rebuild a railing post at its base and leave the sound boards alone. If a ledger or a joist is involved we say so before we go further, and we do not do pilings or seawalls.
Painting needs no permit anywhere. A small like-for-like repair is the kind the city building official can approve without one, and the county list exempts minor soffit, fascia, siding and decking repairs outright for its own addresses. A rebuild into framing takes a permit either way. We check your address first.
