Houses from the 1950s to the 1970s with T1-11, lap siding, fir trim, wood windows and the original doors, on lots that are shaded and never quite dry. Doors swell, siding bottoms and the side-door jamb rot first, drywall cracks where the house settled. We splice new wood into old, rehang the doors and match the paint.
Family streets from the 1970s to the 1990s near Fanno Creek and the parks, where the ground stays wet all winter and much of the siding went up before Oregon's moisture rules. Sliders drag, the garage jamb crumbles on the slab, water behind the siding shows at a window corner. We fix the hardware, rebuild the section and correct the flashing.
