Temecula is mostly tract homes from the late 1980s on, built fast and now old enough that the builder parts are going together: entry doors that sag, sliders on dead rollers, hollow-core interiors split through, west-facing doors baked gray by the afternoon sun. Our office is on Remington Avenue; we rehang, re-roller, refinish and install, usually the same week.

THE LISTALL DONEAll of it is routine for a Kaminskiy-certified technician who starts the day on Remington Avenue. Make one list, call once.

We answer in under three rings and get you priced and scheduled in minutes.

A clear, written quote with upfront pricing. You approve before work begins.

Kaminskiy-certified pros finish the job with a workmanship warranty.
Every job is backed in writing by our workmanship warranty and done by a Kaminskiy-certified, background checked technician.
Old Town's wood-sided buildings with porches and posts, and the 1980s and 1990s stucco homes of Meadowview and Paloma del Sol with wood fascia, open patio covers and the first generation of builder sliders. Doors sag, rollers die, fascia rots behind the gutter, posts crumble at the concrete. We rehang, re-roller, splice and match the paint.
Hillside tracts from the late 1990s on, stucco with foam trim, in associations that set the colors. The wood that fails is the fascia, the garage jamb on the slab, the pop-out sills and the patio cover; the doors that fail face west. Texture-matched patches, hardware, sun-baked doors refinished and everything painted to the scheme, with the materials in writing for the form.
Custom homes on county land with heavy entry doors, French doors to the view, pergolas, patio covers, barns and long fence lines in full sun, with drip lines at the base of every post. Heavy doors rehung on hinges sized for them, posts rebuilt on standoffs, gates and corral boards reset, one visit covering more than it would in town.
Sun first. Summer afternoons over a hundred degrees cook the caulk, the paint, the weatherstrip and the finish on every west-facing door, and the ocean breeze through the Rainbow Gap at night and the sprinklers at dawn put the water back. Most of the housing went up in a few decades with the same builder parts, so the same things fail at the same age, which makes them predictable and cheap when caught early.
Doors, drywall, stucco patches, trim, fences, patio covers, decks, rot, caulk and fixtures are handyman work. A roof, an electrical panel, a re-pipe, a gas line or anything structural goes to the licensed specialty trade, and we say so on the call. Termite treatment belongs to the licensed pest company; the rebuild of what they ate is ours.
Most Temecula repairs are priced on the call, in writing, from your description or a photo, before anything goes on the calendar. A patio cover, a pergola, a rebuilt frame or a bathroom refresh gets a look first and a written scope. The price you approve is the price at the house.
In the Temecula Valley the west side of a house ages twice as fast as the east: the door fades and checks, the stucco hairlines open, the fascia splits behind the gutter and the slider rollers bake. We refinish the door with an exterior finish made for full sun, recaulk and repaint the wall before the paint fails, and tell you which side to watch next summer.
Tell us the list, or text a photo of the worst item. Most small repairs are priced on the call, in writing, in under ten minutes.
A Kaminskiy-certified technician comes with a stocked truck and works through the list in one visit wherever the parts allow.
A door swap, a rotted frame or a bathroom refresh gets a visit and a written scope before anything starts. No surprises at the house.
The work area is left clean and every repair carries our one-year workmanship warranty, on paper.
California lets anyone take a repair job under a set small amount without a license, as long as it needs no permit and nobody is employed to do it. Above that line the state wants a licensed contractor, and most of the jobs on a real to-do list cross it: a door swap, a run of rot, a deck railing. Kaminskiy Care and Repair holds a California contractor license (License #1106209), carries the insurance, and puts every job over the state's written-contract threshold on paper before it starts, which is why the price comes in writing even for the small ones.
Temecula builds to the California Residential Code, which asks for no application or notice to the building official for ordinary repairs to a structure and exempts painting and similar finish work: a rehung door, a patched wall, a rebuilt sill or fascia board, a patio post base. The code draws the line at cutting a structural beam or a load-bearing support, and a patio cover rebuilt from the ground up or an enlarged opening is a different job we check with the city first. The city publishes no separate exempt-work sheet we could find, so we ask the counter rather than guess.
Redhawk, Paloma del Sol, Wolf Creek, Harveston and most of the tracts have associations with color schemes and fence standards; a repair painted to match rarely needs a form, and a new color, a changed trim profile or a new fence line sometimes does, so we put the materials and finish in writing for it. East of the city the wine-country estates sit on county land under the county's wine country plan, with no association, a county permit counter and a lot more wood to look after.
Our office is on Remington Avenue. The Temecula crew starts the day on Remington Avenue, off Winchester Road west of the 15, which is why a Temecula call is usually on the calendar within days. Call 951-419-4481, text a photo, or send the form, any day from eight to eight.
Can't find your answer? Call 951-419-4481 and ask us anything.
Call 951-419-4481Our office is on Remington Avenue, so the drive is minutes to Old Town and a quarter hour to Redhawk or wine country. We answer in under three rings, price most repairs on the call and usually have a technician at the house within days.
Describe the job or text a photo and the price comes on the call, in writing, before anything is scheduled. A patio cover, a pergola, a rebuilt frame or a bathroom item gets a look first and a written scope. There is no service fee waiting at the house.
That is how Temecula uses us. The slider, the drywall holes, the gate and the ceiling fan go on one list, and one Kaminskiy-certified technician with a stocked truck works through it. Anything needing a special-order part is scheduled before we leave.
Both, in the way that matters. Kaminskiy Care and Repair holds a California contractor license (License #1106209), is bonded and insured, and every technician is Kaminskiy-certified and background checked, so a door swap, a patio cover beam or a deck railing is inside the law with us where an unlicensed handyman has to stop.
Not ordinary repairs or finish work: the California Residential Code that Temecula builds to asks for no application for an ordinary repair and exempts painting and similar work. A patio cover rebuilt from the ground up, an enlarged opening or a structural cut is where we check with the city first, and we tell you on the call.
A repair painted to match the approved scheme needs nothing from the association. A new color, a changed trim profile, a new fence line or a new door style usually needs the form, and we give you the materials, size and finish in writing so the form is a five-minute job.
Yes. We sand the face back, seal every edge and the end grain, refinish it with an exterior finish made for full sun and replace the weatherstrip that shrank, so it stops cracking and seals again. If the slab has delaminated we tell you, and install the door you choose instead.

Tell us what needs fixing. We'll call you back with a price and a time. Calling is still the fastest way: 951-419-4481.
